Charts with data

The diagram style applied to charts: Apfel only, ink, one red. After the FT and the Economist, colour is emphasis, not decoration: the series the chart is about is red, the rest a warm grey (lines) or the pale red tint (bars and areas), and the title states what to see. Lines and areas are labelled directly; no legend boxes unless a key is unavoidable.
